Have you ever heard the story
of the soldier Tomas Young?
He went to Iraq for the USA,
and was lied to when he was young,

to give his life and give his body
in a war that never ends.
For what’s called freedom and democracy,
he was sent to foreign lands.

They tell lies to let us die
for goals that aren’t ours
and if you do ask why,
they’ll throw you chained in towers.

Doesn’t matter who they are.
Iraq, Ukraine and other states.
We are just puppets in their war.

Tomas Young got injured
by a bullet in his back.
He lost his deadly wrong illusions,
with a body like a wreck.

To his homeland he returned,
where he fought a better fight,
against war driven propaganda.
But later then he died.

Let’s follow his intention.
For peace we raise our voice.
When they order us to kill,
we make a peaceful choice.
