The politics of housing: We see no alternative to squatting houses and real estate on a broad public scale. Attempts at criticising the manifold processes of displacement currently taking place, struggles to fight eviction and protests against large scale construction projects are reaching their limits.n.<\/p>\n

Environmental politics: We see no alternative to squatting houses and real estate on a broad public scale. Critiques directed against the facts and consequences of the A100 highway and other large scale construction projects like the Berlin airport or the destruction of garden plots\/rank growth\/fallow land, largley remain ineffective.<\/p>\n

Antiracist and refugee politics: We see no alternative to squatting houses and real estate on a broad public scale. Critiques directed against residence restrictions, the construction of container-accommodation, the European exclusionary practices against refugees of war and poverty are reaching their limits.<\/p>\n

The politics of \u201eMediaspree versenken\u201d: We see no alternative to squatting houses and real estate on a broad public scale. The successful citizen referendum wasn\u00b4t worth the paper on which it was written\u2026 Investors took possession of the Spree river-shore and privatised public property, building business towers, luxury appartments and palaces of commerce. The politicians did not fail. They never aimed for anything else. The illegal eviction of Cuvry\u2026<\/p>\n

All of this is connected\u2026 Transcending and uniting coalitions and initatives, we want to squat houses, real estate, building lots and areas. Taking the example of Beermannstr. 20 \u2013 22, we will put this up for public discussion. We will also put up the prevention of forced eviction in these houses for public discussion.<\/p>\n

Attempts of secretly prepared squatting will not create a broad alliance for comprehensive mobilisation and will remain confined to a small circle of already existant political groups. Press coverage is not everything. There is a need for active participation by a broad multitude of societal groups. Who support and encourage squatting projects in large numbers and by various means.<\/p>\n

That\u00b4s why we are convinced that the moment to have a broad public meeting is NOW. We want to squat to prevent large scale constrcution projects. To subvert the exclusion of refugees. To create and protect housing that is affordable for everyone!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\t
